Questions
Do I need an account?
No. After buying you get a licence key by email. Enter it once in Kaleidal Map and you're set.
Does it work without internet?
With Basic or Pro, yes: install Kaleidal Map as an app and it starts and runs with no internet connection, licence included. Free needs a connection to start, but once it's running a dropped connection won't interrupt your show. Subscriptions refresh themselves when you're back online, and keep working for 14 days past the renewal date if you're not.
How many computers can I use?
A licence covers up to 3 devices. You can move it from one computer to another.
Can I cancel Pro?
Any time. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, then return to Free (or Basic, if you bought it). Your projects are never locked — they still open and play.
Refunds?
Within 7 days of buying, for any reason — or longer where the law in your country requires it. You can also try Pro free for 7 days first. See the refund policy.
Who handles payment?
Payments are processed securely by Paddle, our reseller, which also handles sales tax and VAT. Prices are in US dollars; tax is added at checkout where it applies.
Will there be ads on my projector?
Never. Ads appear only in the Free editor's side panel, and they're hidden during a show.
